～寒川神社について　About Samukawa Shrine～

寒川神社は、相模國一之宮と称され、全国唯一の八方除の守護神として約千六百年の歴史を持つ神社です。
古くは朝廷をはじめ、源頼朝、武田信玄、徳川家代々、さらには民間と幅広い信仰を受けてきました。
現在は八方除の限りない御神徳を戴くために、全国各地から崇敬者が集まります。

Samukawa Shrine, known as the Ichinomiya of Sagami Province, is the only shrine in Japan dedicated to the guardian deity of Eight-Directional Protection, with a history spanning approximately 1,600 years. Since ancient times, it has been widely revered by the imperial court, military leaders such as Minamoto no Yoritomo and Takeda Shingen, the Tokugawa family, and the general public. Today, devotees from all over the country gather to receive the boundless divine protection of Eight-Directional Protection.
